Isla (pronounced Eye-La) Starr wrote her first book in college, a Friends-inspired fan fiction lost long ago and probably for the best. It wasn’t until 2008 when she fell hard for paranormal romance that she dove back into crafting her own stories again. She has been writing and publishing since. She writes paranormal and fantasy romance, where the heroines are strong, the men are hot, and light always follows the darkness. She loves herbal tea and biscuits, chocolate and peanut butter, and cool autumn evenings on the back porch swing. Despite the thrill of dark plots, she truly believes in happy endings. After all, a good book is dark and sweet, like chocolate.
